I enjoy reading Kafka, and I understand this quote as beacon to enlightening its reader of the constraints on their supposed free will, for who could follow such advice and live within society. I know I am wrong in my interpretation of this quote, for there are many individual truths in words, however this one is mine and this is how I to read them (today). Great Post. 🙂

I totally agree! Throughout this blog I promote ‘editing’ out lives for the sake of better productivity and creativity, but never our souls: we should never give up who we truly are.
